Meet Ken Hausman
“I support the Boston Avid Users Group for many reasons. Probably the biggest reason is that as I am a relatively new video producer, attending the BAVUG meetings provides the opportunity to meet and network with others in the industry. While filming gets me out of the house, post production can be somewhat isolating. I love going to meetings, learning from presenters and hearing about the kinds of projects on which others are working. I also like to take advantage of being able to ask questions of the long time Avid users. From the beginning I was made to feel welcome.”
After 15 years as a Biomedical Engineer designing medical equipment, and another 19 years in high tech sales, marketing and product management, Ken decided to follow a passion. Over eight years, starting with a single camera and school plays and progressing to multiple cameras and public events, Ken produced almost 300 videos. In early 2015, Ken decided the time was right to build a business and HHH Video was born. The “HHH” stands for “Hausman’s Happy Hacienda”, something his father used to say when answering the telephone.
Today, Ken combines his experience in corporate marketing with his love of photography and videography to provide videos for families and businesses throughout New England and beyond. While his main focus areas are business videos and personal legacy videos, his work also includes videos of theatrical productions, community events, musical performances and audition videos.
